If you are a full-time certified law enforcement
officer or a retired officer who is a member in good standing
with a local
FOP Lodge, you are eligible to purchase and display "FOP
member only" license plates. Ohio
FOP residents only.

If you are an Associate Member of the Fraternal
Order of Police and a member in good standing with the FOP
Associates Lodge,
you may purchase and display "FOPA member only" license
plates. Ohio FOPA residents only.

Every Application is checked for current membership status.
If you are denied, you are either not a member, or your local
lodge has not paid your per-capita (membership dues) to the state
lodge.
We will not ask your local lodge about your status. This is your
local
lodges’ responsibility to submit this information to the
state lodge on a timely basis. When in doubt, ask your local
lodge secretary.

You can purchase these plates at any time in the calendar
year. Your local BMV will pro-rate the cost of your remaining
month(s).

- FOP Booster Members are NOT ELIGIBLE
for FOP/FOPA plates.
- License Plate Authorizations cannot be e-mailed or
faxed
